Cat, belonging to the cat, the cat, wild cats, is a family of the world’s more extensive pets. The ancestors of domestic cats are supposed to have originated in ancient Egypt, the Persian cat of Persia, which has been domesticated by humans for 3500 years (but not fully domesticated as a dog).
